Products and warranties: all metal sheets (roof sides, and ends) available products and applicable warranties adhere without limitation to the following:
A. Standard non-certified units: This unit is built according to manufacturer specifications and industry standards. Non-certified units are not eligible for snow load or wind ratings. All non-certified units come with a 90-day limited warranty, that protects against defects in manufacture or installation.
B. Certified Units: Available in fourteen gauge (14 g), twelve gauge (12 g) and all gauges used for our carports, certified structures are backed by an engineer-approved blueprint. These structures are wind and snow load rated for compliance with local code and state regulations in your area.
Certified units are covered by a 5-year limited warranty in accordance with your engineered blue prints beginning on your delivery date. Certified units require concrete footings provided by the customer, or mobile home anchors at an additional cost.
C. Anchors: All units are secured with anchors that pass through the base rail of the frame and into the ground (or concrete or asphalt, etc.). As the base rail is only affixed to the ground with anchors, the buyer understands and agrees that he may experience water leakage underneath the base rail.
Buyer is responsible for informing installers of any underground cables, gas lines, utility hazards, or other relevant matters prior to commencement of installation. We will not be held liable for damages done to submerged lines, pipes, cables, or other utility instrumentalities during installation.
1 YEAR MAINTENANCE WARRANTY Covers leaks at roof connections, structural repairs, and rust. Does not cover horizontal seams over 35 ft or base rail leaks.
FRAME & METAL WARRANTIES 12 Gauge Frame: 20 Year Rust Warranty 14 Gauge Frame: 1 Year Rust Warranty Sheet Metal: 20 Year (29 gauge) and 40 Year (26 gauge) protection against rust, fading, and peeling
DOOR COVERAGE 30 Day coverage for defects and operation issues. Adjustments after 30 days available for service fee. Damage from unsecured doors is not covered.
WIND & SNOW RATINGS Snow Load: 25 PSF Wind Warranty: 115 MPH Open Structures 130 MPH Fully Enclosed (with proper anchoring)
IMPORTANT LIMITATIONS No coverage for storms, chemical damage, poor drainage, or modifications. Warranty applies to original purchaser only.
MAINTENANCE Wash yearly with mild soap and water. Avoid harsh chemicals.
